i3D.net
Brand refinement and digital design for a global network platform
i3D.net runs quietly behind the scenes of some of the world’s most demanding digital environments. From multiplayer gaming to enterprise systems, its low-latency network connects over 800 million users across 60+ global locations. But as the company scaled, its brand struggled to keep pace.
The challenge was to enhance its brand presence by developing a more intentional, future-ready system that could clearly communicate its value to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Deliverables included a refreshed visual identity system, new brand guidelines, updates to core brand assets, templates, and website UI, a redesigned global network map, and a new interactive network experience.
A visual identity shaped by space and connection
The new identity is based on two key concepts: connection and space. As a platform that enables global digital communities, i3D.net serves as a connective layer, navigating the vast and often unseen infrastructure of the internet.
This inspired a visual language grounded in structure, movement, and exploration. Line-based graphics represent paths and networks, while a refined color palette replaces dominant red and black with deep blues, teal, and accent red to guide focus.
The logo was updated and paired with a standalone brand mark for flexible use across digital and physical contexts. The result is a visual identity that reflects both the grounded performance and aspirational scale of i3D.net’s mission.

Visualizing the network
As a company defined by its infrastructure, i3D.net relies on visual tools to communicate scale. One of the most critical was the global network map, which is used across commercial, marketing, and internal contexts. Over time, the static version became increasingly difficult to update and harder to read as the network expanded.
The redesigned version introduced a flexible, modular system built for clarity, maintainability, and growth. It restored hierarchy, improved regional legibility, and dramatically reduced update time.
Following the identity work, a new interactive network map was also designed from scratch as a tool for customers to explore latency, locations, and global connectivity. While distinct in function, the map’s UI carried through the same design principles: clarity, rhythm, and spatial structure. It translated the brand into an experience that users could navigate and understand at a glance.
